Start with Your Story
Following the success of the first Start with Your Story workshop we are delighted to be offering again this in person focused workshop which will combine an exciting mix of inspiration and practical knowledge. The “Start with Your Story” workshop will send you home with a renewed sense of energy along with the tools to tell the unique story of your organisation’s mission.
Stories provide meaning and purpose in an often-confusing market place. Never underestimate the power of a story to engage your audience’s attention and attract support.
This engaging workshop is being delivered by Mark Preston who has spoken to crowds large and small for 30 years. He is known for his ability to deploy stories and images with memorable and moving effect.
One of the most respected fundraising agencies in the UK described Mark as a wonderful orator saying, ‘he has a unique ability to combine stories with strategy, vision and a deep need to act.’
He has an excellent track record and knows how to put the theory into practice! Mark has spent the last 10 years as an executive in a £50m+ international development charity leading a large team of fundraisers and support staff. Previously working at smaller national and regional charities using his storytelling knowledge.
Feedback:
“Fantastic event at a stunning location. Inspirational speaker who clearly has a passion and talent for both storytelling and training. Really engaging training with many things learnt by the group that can be taken back into the workplace and used. Thank you for putting on such a valuable event”

“Thank you! It was such an informative and helpful day and the workshop helped me understand storytelling and also the practical application to my work at Seachange. It was wonderful to meet others who also wanted to share their story.” Seachange
The Charity Knowledge Hub is proud to be bringing this excellent workshop to the South West so that smaller, regional or south west based national charities get the opportunity of this in person training without the expense and time of having to travel further afield or to London.
Ideal for Charities and not for profit organisations of all sizes.
